Black Park Energy Share

Black Park community near Halton, Chirk, has set up a new group following the energy-share initiative. Here is what they had to say,

Hot Topic – North Wales Incinerator – What do you think?

Councils across North Wales, under the banner of the North Wales Residual Waste Treatment Project (NWRWTP) are in the process of commissioning a large incinerator to burn all their waste, likely to be located either near Deeside or Holyhead.

They are currently consulting on proposals and are running a series of public meetings across the north over the summer.

Community Renewable Energy Event

Exhibiting at the Community Renewable EnergyEvent (CREE) organized by the IMAGE Environmental Group will be: Consultants of businesses, organisations and MCS (Micro-generation Certified Scheme) accredited installers who can advise on all types of renewable energy and energy saving options; including solar pv, solar thermal, ground and air source heat pumps,feed-in-tariffs, insulation.

The event is aimed at:
– the domestic householder, businesses, community owned premises and communityrenewable energy projects.
– to provide practical information about different types of renewable energy,financial incentives and energy saving measures available.
– how to become part of the low carbon economy and see if property owners can saveor even make money with renewable energy and resource efficiency.
